Join the City of Thunder Bay as an Early Childhood Educator II, delivering enriching programs at our Child Care Centre. Utilize your expertise to foster a nurturing and educational workplace for children. This position entails carrying out developmental activities for children under the supervision of the Program Supervisor.

You will design programming that aligns with the holistic growth of children while ensuring the Centre remains organized and inviting. Engage with parents, staff, and outside agencies to enhance community relationships. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate learning activities
Organize educational materials and resources
Ensure a tidy and functional Child Care Centre




Participate in staff and parent meetings regularly
Assist in the training of current staff and students Requirements:
Early childhood education diploma or equivalency
Familiarity with the Ontario Child Care and Early Years Act
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Certification as an Early Childhood Educator is a bonus
