Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in framing, forming, current building codes, and contemporary construction practices. We are looking for someone flexible who can cover a variety of different tasks on both the interior and exterior of the home. The ability to operate excavators, jig booms, and other heavy machinery is an asset

Duties
Frame walls for both interior and exterior construction work
Install flooring, tile, and drywall on interior jobs. Mudding and taping skills are an asset
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete various construction work
Collaborate with team members on construction site activities to ensure efficient workflow.
Siding installation skills are an asset
Conduct heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials safely in office.
Read blueprints and build structures to the specifications of these plans
Valid working at heights is required





Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
Proven experience in framing or related construction fields.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively are an asset
Previous construction site experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of drywall, tile, mudding, and taping practices are an asset
