Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Assist in restocking supplies and organizing the counter area for effective workflow
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant setting is preferred but not required
Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous
Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively
Prior experience in cashiering or serving roles is desirable but not mandatory
