We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Barista to join our team. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position involves working with POS systems, including Micros POS, and adhering to food safety standards to ensure a positive experience for all customers.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks according to company standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs efficiently
Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items and maintaining cleanliness of food stations
Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Support team members during busy hours to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry
Robust customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Clover POS, is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
