Become an integral part of the University of Toronto Mississauga as a Building Engineer. This role entails the operation and maintenance of utility equipment on campus, ensuring safety and efficiency. Reporting to the Assistant Manager Utilities & Elevator Services, the Building Engineer plays a vital role in maintaining all utilities equipment.

You will conduct inspections, perform maintenance tasks, and respond to emergencies to ensure a protected workplace at UTM. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of HVAC and other mechanical systems, along with effective communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular rounds of mechanical equipment and utilities services
Perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment




Monitor building management systems for operational efficiency
Respond to trouble calls during off hours
Maintain daily logs of equipment operations and issues Requirements:
High School diploma and 3rd Class Operating Engineer Certification
Minimum one year of relevant engineering experience
Robust mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and office software
