This role ensures that all requirements are met for underwriting of the recent policy, and performs regular follows up throughout the process with insurance carrier partners.This role is a 12 month contract position.What You Will DoProvide case management to the assigned advisor ensuring that SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are metCritically review applications submitted, communicate with advisors for missing or incomplete information, and proactively address potential issues in order to promote an efficient new business processOrder all medical requirements depending on the circumstances of the caseRegularly and timely follow up regarding pending business casesMaintain regular communication between carriers and advisors throughout underwriting process to completionEnsure advisors receive clear and consistent communication regarding pending casesWork extensively with back office systems, WealthServ,



as well as insurance carrier websitesUpdate and maintain WealthServ system with current information at all timesResponsible for maintaining an organized filing system for easy referral and retrievalWork is carried out with some latitude to decide when and how work is completedResults directly contribute to the performance of the teamCommunicate effectively with colleagues and advisorsLiaison between the advisor and insurance carrierThe position requires no direct supervision or coordination of employees, but may occasionally assist other employees by providing them with informationWhat You Will BringPossesses specialized knowledge of insurance case managementMinimum of 1 year experience in the insurance and financial services industryProven experience in Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of WealthServ an assetCompletion of Post-Secondary School, or equivalentDetail-oriented maintaining accuracy and consistencyExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills. Communicates effectively (internally and externally)Customer service mindsetDemonstrated flexibility and adaptability to work in an ever-changing environmentThe base salary for this position is between$41, 100 - $68,400annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.E. annual bonus, commission etc).
