Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic ECE/ECEA to join our Before/After School team. In this role, you will create a secure, engaging, and nurturing workplace for children before and after school hours. This is a permanent job with the split shifts in the morning and afternoon.

Duties
Supervise children during before and after school periods, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, cooperation, and curiosity
Assist with daily routines such as snack time, outdoor play, and transition activities between different parts of the day
Ensure adherence to all safety policies, licensing regulations, and program standards

Requirements




Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is a must
Solid knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
Ability to engage children through play, and other interactive activities
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and connect with families
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for fostering a supportive learning environment
Certification in CPR/First Aid is a must
A genuine passion for early childhood development and helping children reach their full potential

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
