Position Summary
We are recruiting for a relief full-time opportunity in our acute care team at the Kelowna General Hospital. This position is expected to run until January 2027 or the return of the current incumbent.
Days of Work: Schedule is primarily Monday to Friday. There is also a requirement to work one out of every five weekends. When you work a weekend, you will have the Friday before and Monday after that weekend off.
Shift times/Hours of work: 08:00 to 16:00, 07:30 to 15:30

About the role:
The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes.
In addition to clinical responsibilities,
the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and qualified goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.

Qualfications
Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
