This role emphasizes precision and quality in every task performed. Under the supervision of the Fabrication & Maintenance Supervisor, the Pattern Maker is a crucial member of the team.
This position requires expertise in fabric and leather manipulation, electrical familiarity, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for creating patterns, marking sewing components, and operating machinery to support aircraft upholstery installations. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with regulations and manuals
Prepare and cut Velcro and fabric materials
Mark components for sewing and assembly
Operate sewing equipment and machinery
Maintain high quality through self-inspection Requirements:
Experience with textile and leather materials
Ability to operate sewing machines accurately
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
Timely completion of required training
