We are seeking a Licensed Optician with strong optical knowledge to support both clinical and patient-facing operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of clinical work, patient interaction, and technical precision.
What You’ll Do
Support patient flow from pre-testing through to optical handoff
Perform pre-testing using diagnostic equipment (OCT, auto-refraction, etc.)
Assist optometrist during exams when required
Accurately record and manage patient data in EMR systems
Provide support with contact lens training and patient education
Assist with eyewear coordination, dispensing, and follow-up care
Handle appointment scheduling and patient communications
Support insurance processing and administrative tasks
Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and clinical equipment
Work closely with the optical team to ensure seamless patient care
What We’re Looking For
Licensed Optician or experienced optical/medical assistant
Robust understanding of optics and patient eyewear needs
Experience in a clinic or optical environment preferred
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting
Team-oriented with a professional, patient-first attitude
