We are currently hiring reliable and customer-focused Cashier / POS Event Staff to support an upcoming retail sale at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg.

Location: RBC Convention Centre, Winnipeg
Event Dates: August 27–30, 2026
Pay Rate - $20 a hour
Schedule - 9:45 am - 7:30 pm

Schedule
August 27: 7 staff required
August 28–30: 6 staff required per day
One team member will be released after the first day based on performance.

Responsibilities
Operate Point of Sale (POS) terminals and process customer transactions accurately.
Handle cash, debit, and credit card payments.
Provide friendly and skilled customer service.
Assist customers with purchases and answer basic inquiries.




Maintain an organized and clean cashier area.
Balance cash drawer and follow cash handling procedures.
Support the sales team with general event duties as required.

Qualifications
Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience is an asset.
Experience using POS systems is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a quick-paced setting.
Comfortable standing for extended periods.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
