Responsibilities

Manage projects across the entire project lifecycle including requirements analysis, product specifications, project planning, purchase decisions, implementation, integration, quality assurance, training and deployment.

Adhere to internal project management controls including project plans/schedules, project change management, risk management, issues management, status reporting, etc.

Develop and maintain QA/QC process for each project to ensure Mechanical and Electrical Low Voltage Building Systems are delivered on time and in good standing. This includes performing and overseeing QA/QC audits of select M&E; Low Voltage or IMIT systems.

Provide active oversight of on‑site work performance and efficiency of MEIT staff, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure activities on site, project plans and schedules are followed effectively and within budget.

Monitor and report on Low Voltage and/or IMIT system’s progress during design, shop drawing, procurement, construction, testing and closeout phases of assigned projects.

Assist Consultant and Subcontractor teams with developing MEiT integration deployment strategies to ensure design and subcontractor execution plans align with overall construction schedule and project requirements.

Perform detailed shop drawing reviews of M&E; Low Voltage and/or IMIT systems.

Lead M&E; Low Voltage and/or IMIT project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing progression.

Witness and provide direction during functional performance testing of Low Voltage Mechanical and Electrical systems and integrations.





Manage and oversee subcontractor close out activities specific to M&E; Low Voltage or IMIT systems including delivery of training, as‑builts and O&Ms.;

Qualifications

5-10 years of relevant work experience.

Exposure to Data Networks, Wireless Networks, Structured Cabling and Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control) considered an asset.

Some exposure related onsite construction activities.

Scheduling experience an asset.

Works well in a large team environment.

Exposure to M&E; Low Voltage systems management considered an asset.

BICSI or CTS Certifications considered an asset.

Excited to join an industry leading Technical team.

Ability to work in Cold Lake, AB.

Ability to obtain Secret (Level II) Clearance.
