Elk Valley Resources is hiring an Instrumentation & Control Technician to ensure optimal operation of electronic control systems in our steelmaking coal processes. This role is based in Sparwood, B.C. on a full-time 4×4 day shift.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Maintenance Processing, you will be integral to maintaining electrical instrumentation in a safe mining setting. You will engage in a collaborative atmosphere focused on health and safety as part of a skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair electronic process control instrumentation
• Install and calibrate systems effectively
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with electrical and instrumentation teams
• Undertake piping and wiring installation tasks as necessary

Requirements:
• Must possess Interprovincial Red Seal certification
• Valid driver's license necessary for commute
• Background in industrial environments
• Experience with PLC and DCS control systems an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills required for teamwork
