Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and a robust background in environmental consulting, permitting, and planning. This position is about 50% office work and 50% field assessments, contributing actively to diverse projects ranging from oil and gas to municipal authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit environmental applications and permits
• Lead wildlife and watercourse assessments in the field
• Collect environmental data and report findings
• Support compliance and environmental planning efforts
• Ensure projects align with legislation and best practices
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Environmental Science or related area
• At least 3 years of consulting experience
• Robust knowledge of Alberta's regulatory framework
• Experience with technical report writing
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean record
