Manitoulin Transport is recruiting a dedicated Forklift Mechanic to maintain our fleet of forklifts and trucks. This position requires diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing preventive maintenance, and managing repairs efficiently. Your 3-5 years of experience with battery and propane-powered equipment will be essential in delivering top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess the integrity of forklifts and trucks
• Diagnose faults and communicate repairs effectively




• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance
• Order parts using diagnostic tools
• Document and analyze equipment breakdowns

Requirements:
• High school completion and 3–5 years as a mechanic
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Current forklift license and G driver license
• Honest, reliable, and able to manage jobs independently
