As a program instructor for YES-STAIY, you will engage diverse student populations in essential workplace readiness topics. Your role includes preparing curriculum outlines, providing in-class training, and supporting youth in their job search efforts. Collaboration with the Job Developer and participation in follow-up sessions will also be key components of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional objectives
• Revise syllabus and hand-outs for each course
• Provide course-specific skills training in-class
• Monitor youth progress and document evaluations
• Support the YES-STAIY Job Developer in client readiness
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years teaching experience
• Knowledge of local labor market initiatives
• Familiarity with adult learning principles
• Understanding of multicultural perspectives
• Robust organizational and interpersonal skills
