New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives as part of a Data Center Rationalization Program for a public-sector client. The Senior Project Manager will work within the Strategy Realization Office, collaborating closely with program leadership, architecture, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution of large-scale, multi-stream technology projects. This role requires strong leadership across the full project lifecycle, with a focus on governance, risk management, and infrastructure delivery excellence.Responsibilities:Lead full lifecycle delivery of infrastructure projects, including cloud, network, platform, and data environment initiativesDevelop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple technical teamsDefine and manage project scope, success criteria, and acceptance conditionsEnsure adherence to SDLC, PMLC, and infrastructure delivery standardsAct as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teamsPartner with Strategy Realization Office, Program Managers, Architecture, Infrastructure, and IT Leadership to align prioritiesFacilitate coordination across cross-functional teams with competing priorities and complex dependenciesManage vendor relationships, including system integrators, cloud providers, and third-party partnersEnsure vendor deliverables meet contractual, architectural, and quality expectationsOwn and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)Identify, manage, and escalate risks at both project and program levelsTranslate technical risks and issues into business impacts for executive stakeholdersProvide clear, concise, and data-driven status reporting,
including project health and forward-looking risksSupport governance processes, stage gates, and executive reporting requirementsCollaborate with resource managers to align project demand with available technical capacityValidate resource assumptions across specialized roles such as cloud engineers, architects, and DBAsIdentify and escalate resource constraints and recommend mitigation strategiesContribute to enterprise capacity planning and forecasting activitiesCoordinate infrastructure readiness activities, including environment setup, deployment planning, and release coordinationEnsure operational handoff readiness, including runbooks, SLAs, monitoring, and support modelsAlign delivery with production support, incident management, and service management processesPartner with Change Management teams to support adoption of new platforms and infrastructure capabilitiesRequirements:7+ years of experience delivering complex IT infrastructure projects and programsProven experience managing large-scale initiatives involving data center rationalization, cloud transformation, or infrastructure modernizationStrong experience managing interdependent project schedules, including application migrations, vendor deliverables, testing, and cutover activitiesDemonstrated expertise in risk identification, management, and mitigation across business and technology domains (e.G., security, data integrity, operational stability,
compliance)Proven experience working within formal project and program governance frameworks, including executive reporting and escalationExperience managing multiple stakeholders across business and IT, including senior leadershipStrong ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, fast-paced environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAssets:Experience working within public-sector or insurance environmentsCertifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologiesExperience with large-scale data center migrations or rationalization programsBackground in regulated industries such as insurance, financial services, or governmentEngagement Detail's:Full time contract role for an initial term of 11 months, with the option to extendStart date: April 27, 2026Hybrid work model; open to candidates across CanadaMust be available to work Regina standard business hoursIf you have this expertise and are eligible to work in Canada, please submit your resume.
