Job Description: Key Account Sales Manager SDA (Small Domestic Appliances)
In this role, you will be the primary liaison between Smeg Canada and some of our key trading partners.You will be responsible for driving revenue and profit to reach/surpass assigned targets, manage all aspects of communication (internal and external), resolve issues proactively and create opportunities in parallel with our Go To Market strategy.Crucial to the success in this role will be your ability to work collaboratively across Functions to achieve results.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage relationships with retail accounts: buyers, category managers, and key stakeholders
Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue and margin expectations
Forecast, budget and manage P&L;’s for each national account, including all aspects of marketing and promotional funding
Lead product management at retail partners: Drive new product launches, own the full lifecycle of Sku management, including onboarding new listings maintaining accurate product data
Ensuring a best-in-class presence both in store and online
Deliver in store training and execute live and virtual product demos
Negotiate pricing, promotions, and agreements to maximize revenue and profit
Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities
Monitor supply closely to ensure stock availability
Conduct business reviews with accounts (including Top-to-Tops, Line Reviews and Joint Business Planning)
Analyze POS data and trade stock regularly
Qualifications and Experience:
·2-5 years of experience in Account Management, sales, category management
·Experience in Small Domestic Appliances, packaged goods or related industry preferred
·Strong understanding of retail and e-commerce channels
·Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
·Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends
·Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PPT and CRM systems
