In this in office role, reporting to the Weekend Night Shift Machine Shop Supervisor, you’ll utilize your Mill Turn expertise to manage manual set-ups and make critical machine adjustments. With a focus on quality, you’ll document actions and communicate discrepancies. Your contribution supports continuous improvement initiatives and promotes operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform manual set-ups using CNC programming language
• Maintain tolerances through machine adjustments and inspections
• Document discrepancies and create Product Defect Sheets
• Work from manufacturing sheets and technical drawings
• Support 5S activities and continuous improvement processes
Requirements:
• High school diploma with 5+ years of Mill Turn experience
• Proficient in reading blueprints and operating measuring tools
• Experience with renishaw probes and probe cycles
• Willingness to train and multi-task in various operations
• Must meet ITAR requirements to work in Canada
