Vernon Jubilee Hospital is offering two positions for child and adolescent Psychiatrists to join its esteemed Psychiatry team. Collaborate with ten experienced professionals in this rewarding role, which includes inpatient care, emergency consultations, and community practice. You will engage in both individual and group counseling, supporting a wide range of mental health needs among children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide quality psychiatric care to children and adolescents
• Facilitate group therapy and individual counseling
• Work with a highly supportive psychiatry team
• Educate and mentor medical students from UBC
• Contribute to community mental health projects
Requirements:
• Eligible for CPSBC licensure in British Columbia
• US-trained physicians with ABMS certification welcome
• Ensure coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association
