Elevate child mental health services as a Mental Health Clinician with BC Public Service in Agassiz. This role focuses on providing support and crisis intervention to children and youth aged 0-18.
As a full time clinician on the Fraser Cascade CYMH team, you'll assess and treat young clients facing emotional challenges. Collaborating closely with other health professionals, schools, and families, you will provide individualized, group, and family therapy. The position emphasizes professional development within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer intake and comprehensive treatment services
• Conduct safety planning and crisis interventions
• Work jointly with community partners and agencies
• Foster client-focused relationships with families
• Participate in ongoing clinical training sessions
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a relevant area
• At least one year of full-time experience
• A valid B.C. Class 5 driver’s license
• Experience in community-based mental health services
• Preference for candidates with recent CYMH training
