Smart, Savvy + Associates is pleased to partner with Technical Safety BC in their search for a Business Partner, Change.

This is an opportunity to join a newly established Change Leadership team that's helping shape one of British Columbia's largest enterprise transformation initiatives. Working alongside business leaders, project teams, and stakeholders across the organization, you'll design and implement change strategies that help people successfully adopt new systems, processes, and ways of working.

What You'll Do

Develop change strategies and implementation plans that support complex business transformation initiatives

Assess organizational impacts, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies

Build readiness plans that help teams successfully adopt new processes and systems

Monitor progress, measure adoption, and adjust strategies based on feedback and results

Partner with leaders across the organization

Serve as a trusted advisor to operational leaders and project teams

Facilitate stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration

Help leaders communicate the purpose, impact, and advantages of change

Build alignment across multiple business groups to ensure successful implementation

Drive project success





Develop integrated change plans, timelines, milestones, and reporting

Coordinate communications, engagement activities, training, and reinforcement plans

Support large-scale transformation initiatives from planning through implementation

Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen change management practices

What You Bring

Experience leading organizational change, business transformation, or process improvement initiatives

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders

Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills

Experience assessing business impacts, identifying risks, and developing change plans

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Experience developing business documentation such as business cases, policies, SOPs, user guides, or reports

Experience working within complex, cross-functional organizations

Ideally, you'll also have:

A degree in Business or a related discipline, plus 2-3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and 5-7 years of directly related experience

Experience with business analysis, process improvement, or organizational change methodologies





Familiarity with Agile project environments, Jira, or similar project management tools

The Details

$78,600-$106,400 annual salary

Annual step increases plus negotiated annual wage increases

Comprehensive health, dental and disability benefits

Defined benefit pension plan (BCGEU)

3 weeks' vacation to start

Hybrid work environment (2 days/week in office)

Up to $1,500 annually toward learning and development

Vancouver, Victoria, or Kelowna preferred (occasional travel within BC)
