Technical Analyst

Key Responsibilities
Assess the current Oracle APEX environment, application portfolio, architecture, hosting model, integrations, and operational requirements.
Analyze application complexity, business value, security, reporting, integrations, user groups, and support requirements.
Evaluate modernization options including:
Microsoft Power Platform
Enterprise Client Management Systems
Enterprise Work Management Systems
Oracle APEX modernization or redevelopment
Conduct licensing, infrastructure, governance, security, hosting, Dataverse, connector, and cost analysis.
Perform business process analysis, fit-gap analysis, risk assessment, and modernization recommendations.
Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, discovery sessions, project meetings, and executive presentations.
Develop transition roadmaps, implementation strategies, governance models, environment strategies, and deployment recommendations.
Prepare executive presentations, business cases, technical documentation, status reports, and knowledge transfer materials.
Required Qualifications
University or College degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience with Oracle APEX application environments, including design, development, support, hosting, and migration planning.
Solid experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including:
Power Apps
Power Automate
Power BI
Dataverse
Connectors
Environment Management
Licensing
Governance
Security
Administration
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Experience developing:
Business Cases
Cost-Benefit Analysis
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Technology Modernization Strategies
Strong Business Analysis skills including:
Requirements Gathering
Stakeholder Management
Process Analysis
Fit-Gap Analysis
Risk Assessment
Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and documentation skills.
Deliverables
Current-state Oracle APEX assessment.
Application inventory and assessment matrix.
Migration and modernization recommendations.
Fit-gap and options analysis.
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) comparison.
Risk, governance, security, and lifecycle assessment.
Future-state architecture and implementation roadmap.
Executive business case and recommendations.
