As a Geologist, you will support the Mines Technical Services team at Vale. Collaborating with Engineering and Operations, you will enhance mine designs and provide crucial geological oversight. With your experience, you'll analyze data, conduct mapping, and implement safety programs to influence productivity and costs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to safety programs and hazard reporting
• Provide grade control guidance for optimal ore recovery
• Communicate geological information effectively
• Conduct geological mapping for mine development
• Analyze geological data to support interpretations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Geology or related field
• Minimum one year in underground mining
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Datamine
• Knowledge of Geological Systems and Mining Processes
• Eligibility for APGO, registered GIT
