Responsibilities Include:

Editing high-quality content and media for both clients and Algonquin Digital promotions

Collaborating with other members of our creative team to plan and create high-quality, engaging content

Editing video content with excellence, so that it engages and retains viewers on whatever platform it's created to target (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, website, etc.)

Creating video content that communicates effectively, targeting desired audiences and outcomes.

Other responsibilities as required

The ideal candidate:

Appreciates and understands high-quality production and visual media

Understands modern high-quality footage (lighting, camera techniques and angles, working with Log footage, etc)

Keeps up with current trends

Understands how to hook and maintain viewer interest

Has a deep understanding of video editing techniques, DaVinci Resolve, colour grading





Is organized, consistent, and self-motivated

Enjoys contributing to a passionate team

Is excited about our values

Is driven to constantly improve his/her creative craft

Is excited about joining a growing, creative team and company and investing long-term

Location:
This is an in-person position working from our office in beautiful Huntsville, ON.

Compensation:
Salary varies with experience and/or talent and creativity, with an anticipated salary range of $70,000-85,000 per year. This is a full time salaried position. Opportunities abound for career development and advancement based on skills, responsibility, track record, and productivity.
