Your role Plan and execute compilation, review and audit engagements including preparation of financial statements and applicable tax filings
Prepare personal income tax returns and related schedules
Establish and maintain client relationships while developing skills for the attraction of new clients
Respond to client inquiries and concerns
Analyze client circumstances and provide useful insight and support for financial decision making or planning, including identifying opportunities for value-added services to clients
Review of bookkeeping prepared internally for clients
Manage time, budgets, work in progress and billings
Collaborate with team members to maintain or improve efficient internal processes
Engage in continuous professional development, as required for CPA designation as well as to maintain appropriate level of knowledge to perform role




What you bring to the table CPA (or equivalent) designation required
2+ years of public practice experience required
Strong understanding of accounting and tax fundamentals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively to resolve issues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong work ethic and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to perform more than one task concurrently
Proficient in computer applications such as CaseWare, Microsoft 365, Profile, QBO, and other relevant software
