When you work with friends, it doesn’t feel like work!THE OPPORTUNITYResponsible for the safe operations of the refrigeration plant.Maintain and operate ammonia refrigeration system, HVAC,



pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Complete routine inspection and testing of equipment and infrastructure to ensure proper operations.Monitor and maintain water treatment for boiler systems, chillers, and cooling towers.Document readings on plant equipment including boilers, water and gas consumption.Preform sampling and testing for Waste Water Treatment.Perform repairs and general maintenance duties associated with the refrigeration and boiler systems.Troubleshoot mechanical breakdown relating to the utilities to ensure minimal impact to production.Maintain a safe and clean work setting by ensuring the facility is operating in accordance with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA).Complete work orders and apply corrective measures in a timely manner.Assist other members of the maintenance team with repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, and minor building repairs.Follow all prescribed Safety, SOPs, HACCP, and GMP procedures.Ability to work in noisy conditions, in a cold environment and occasionally from heights.THE REQUIREMENTSExperience within a TSSA-regulated ammonia facilityKnowledge and experience on Ammonia Refrigeration Systems2-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing plantExperience in food manufacturing industry preferredAbility to work weekends as requiredPiller's Fine Foods is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, colour, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or any other protected factor.
