The Legislative Assembly of Ontario is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to provide expertise within the Technology Services Branch. This backfill role requires collaboration with a agile team, reporting to the Manager of Information Security. You will engage in audits, incident response, and the formulation of security policies aligned with the NIST framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the cybersecurity program with other government entities
• Conduct internal audits and implement security recommendations
• Investigate real-time alerts and threats
• Document the cybersecurity landscape and develop reports
• Lead architecture establishment for cybersecurity alignment
Requirements:
• 5 to 10 years in cybersecurity services
• Proven experience in vulnerability assessments and incident response
• University degree in IT specialized in cybersecurity
• CISSP or equivalent qualifications
• Strong communication with senior management
