Become a key player in the Finance department at the City of Saskatoon as a Financial Analyst II. This role focuses on corporate accounting and financial reporting to bolster the City’s financial integrity.

The City of Saskatoon seeks a Financial Analyst II to perform advanced corporate accounting and reporting functions. This position demands experience in financial management and public sector accounting principles. You will ensure compliance while providing critical support to various civic departments, enhancing internal controls and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct confidential financial analysis and provide recommendations
• Manage corporate accounting functions and maintain financial systems
• Oversee month-end processes and statutory filings




• Implement and improve financial business systems and controls
• Assist with annual corporate financial statement preparations

Requirements:
• Degree in finance or accounting plus CPA designation
• 4–6 years of financial analysis experience
• Robust knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
