Fraser Health is seeking an Acute Care Neurosurgeon with a spine subspecialty to enhance surgical care for the Fraser Valley. This role divides practice time between two major hospitals for high-quality care.

This position offers an exciting chance for candidates completing a Canadian Neurosurgery residency and fellowship in spine surgery. You will join a committed surgical team at Royal Columbian Hospital and Eagle Ridge Hospital, providing vital consultations and surgical assistance for patients with spinal conditions. Your expertise will contribute to patient care and medical education with UBC.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inpatient consultations for spinal issues
• Provide advice on trauma service spinal management




• Cover daytime neurosurgical call shifts
• Assist in surgeries and provide care for urgent inpatients
• Participate in UBC’s medical education program

Requirements:
• Neurosurgery residency completion in Canada
• Fellowship training in spine surgery preferred
• CMPA | CPSBC eligibility required
• FRCSC designation needed
• Commitment to collaborative surgical care
