Join Onterris as a Junior Wildlife Biologist, supporting our field crew in Alberta's mine site. This dynamic position requires a commitment to data quality and safety in a remote setting.

This role offers a permanent placement with a two-week on/two-week off rotation. As a Junior Wildlife Biologist, you will facilitate bird and wildlife surveys, participate in safety planning, and assist with data collection. Your contributions will ensure that the fieldwork is efficient and protected, aiding in the preservation of our environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support bird and wildlife surveys, including nest sweeps
• Conduct risk assessments and participate in safety meetings
• Collect and document accurate digital data
• Assist in developing safety plans and access routes
• Work in a remote field environment, with camp accommodations

Requirements:
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biology, Ecology, or Environmental Science
• 2-4+ years of relevant wildlife experience
• Proficient in GPS/GIS data collection
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Eligible for P.Biol. registration
