Job Description The Clinical Resource Nurse has demonstrated clinical expertise in the GI patient populations. Since the6S clinical leader is responsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical patient care, the successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Patient Care Manager and Professional Practice Clinician, providing leadership and coaching for the nursing staff.
The goal is to create a safe, evidence-based clinical practice environment through the development and maintenance of critical thinking skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in the nursing staff to enhance their ability to provide competent, safe,



evidence-based and effective patient and family centred care.

Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current BCLS Certification required at time of hire
BScN preferred
Previous clinical leadership experience preferred
Proven clinical and leadership skills
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of clinical experience with 2 years demonstrated clinical expertise in practice area
CNA certification in a related practice area preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at the unit and organizational levels
Charge Nurse or In Charge experience required
Working knowledge of adult learning principles
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
Additional Information Hours: Monday to Sunday; 12 hour day shifts, (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $45.560 to $63.350 per hour
