Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in providing high-quality resident care and ensuring the well-being of the residents.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Registered Nurse, you will be accountable for the assessment and planning of resident needs,
delivery of skilled procedures, medication administration and documentation in accordance with quality management, legislative requirement and Sienna Senior Living standards.
How You’ll Succeed:
Provide Resident Care and Services
Utilizes sound nursing practice principals, the RN will ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care
Provides for nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures and provincial regulatory RN scope of practice requirements
Collaborate with the resident or their substitute decision maker about their needs, preferences and health status at move in, changes in status and ongoing assessment as required
Creates, develops and evaluates plan of care, goals of care with the resident or their substitute decision maker.
Provide Supervision, Assistance & Oversight
Demonstrates a professional working knowledge of all equipment used in the delivery of nursing care.
Assists with the development and implementation of policies and guidelines that reflect the philosophy of the Community.
Utilizes sound nursing practice principals, the RN will ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural and social needs of the resident
Participates in conferences with the interdisciplinary team providing care to the residents
Provide Leadership and Guidance
Acts as a role model for nursing team members performing within the professional guidelines of
