Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (though occasional flexibility may be required in hours if any urgent requirements due to the nature of the role).
An experienced individual is required for this newly developed role in the business; to lead, manage, train and develop the health and safety function within the organisation. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, standards and best practices. The role is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures to create a secure working environment and mitigating risks for employees, contractors and visitors.
Where/as time allows, and in time, running outside H&S; training for external companies as required.
Please note that local license to live and work in Guernsey is an essential requirement for this job
