We are seeking a hands‑on, results-driven Production Manager to organize and supervise work in our Production Department. The Production Manager will lead staff, enforce production standards, and work cross‑functionally with engineering, sales and service to ensure smooth, efficient plant operations. This role requires strong supervisory experience in a production environment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to train and motivate teams.
Key Responsibilities
Organize, direct and supervise daily production activities to meet company standards for productivity, quality, housekeeping and safety.
Monitor work methods and equipment usage and implement recommended changes to improve labour utilization, production efficiency and departmental costs.
Lead, train and supervise production staff; oversee all current hire training and provide ongoing training across departments.
Work closely with department management to coordinate production plans and resolve operational issues.
Execute and enforce company production policies, procedures and standards.
Establish, monitor and manage department budgets; participate in hiring, discipline and employee relations.
Attend meetings, follow written and verbal instructions, and perform other duties as assigned.
Provide occasional support to other branch personnel as required.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
2+ years of business management experience in a production environment
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop staff.
Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
Basic math skills: able to count, add and subtract accurately.
Ability to recognize colors,
sizes and types of product.
Education & Physical Requirements
Regular standing, walking and stooping.
Ability to drive a forklift, grasp, push and pull loaded carts upto 500lbs
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
High school diploma or equivalent; related experience may be considered.
