New Directions is seeking a Full Time Leader for the Youth Supported Independent Living Program in Winnipeg, MB. In this role, you will support youth in their journey toward independence through skill development and mentoring.
You will oversee program operations, focusing on individual assessments, case management, and guiding a team of professionals. This position calls for robust leadership to provide training and ensure compliance with agency standards while supporting youth facing various challenges. Your role is crucial in helping them achieve their aspirations in education, work, and community life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intakes and assessments for youth in the program
• Guide the use of Personal Outcome Measures for support plans
• Supervise staff and provide effective training
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards
• Manage the program's financial responsibilities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Social Work or related field
• 5+ years of experience in child welfare case management
• Supervisory experience in social service settings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license required
