In this critical role, you will work under the guidance of the Speech and Language Pathologist. Your responsibilities include screening, implementing treatment plans, and documenting client progress. You’ll play an essential part in helping adults maximize their potential as you become integral to their speech and swallowing therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in screening adult patients with communication disorders
• Carry out prescribed treatment programs effectively
• Document client progress and report outcomes
• Support the Speech and Language Pathologist in therapy sessions
• Maintain a focus on patient safety and wellbeing
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Communication Disorder Assistant
• Completion of a recognized CDA program
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience in hospital settings preferred
