This role is integral to the health promotion and illness prevention efforts at Southwestern Public Health. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will conduct inspections under various Health Protection Programs, including Food Safety and Infectious Disease Control. Candidates should possess a C.P.H.I.(C) certification and have at least one year of relevant experience in public health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide public health inspection services across communities
• Enforce regulations and protocols of health acts
• Participate in program evaluation and development
• Educate the public on health-related issues
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on health initiatives
Requirements:
• Current C.P.H.I.(C) Certification
• Four-year degree related to public health
• Minimum one year of public health experience
• Knowledge of applicable health legislation
• Valid Ontario Driver’s license and vehicle access
