Become a crucial part of Collins Aerospace as a Weekend Deburr Technician in Oakville, Ontario. This onsite role focuses on deburring, polishing, and quality assurance of essential landing gear components.
As a Deburr Technician, you will report to the Weekend Day Shift Machine Shop Supervisor, where you'll ensure adherence to high-quality standards. Your responsibilities encompass ti-etching, deburring, filing, and cleaning titanium landing gear components. Supporting robotic processes and participating in continuous improvement initiatives are also key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform deburring, filing, polishing, and cleaning tasks
• Support robotic deburring processes as needed
• Conduct operator self-verification for quality assurance
• Operate overhead cranes for part movement
• Engage in LEAN and Continuous Improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• High school diploma with 1-3 years deburring experience
• Proficient in reading micrometers and verniers
• Eligibility to work in Canada; meet ITAR and CCGP requirements
• Ability to follow production order cards and process sheets
• Previous titanium deburring experience is a plus
