Quality Control & Warranty Manager Residential High-Rise Construction
Mississauga, ON | Full-Time | $120,000–$140,000
An established and growing residential high-rise developer is seeking an experienced Quality Control & Warranty Manager to lead quality assurance, warranty management, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple condominium developments in the GTA.
This is an exciting opportunity for a construction qualified who enjoys being on-site, solving problems before they become homeowner concerns, working closely with trades and project teams, and helping elevate construction quality standards across future developments.
This is not a customer service warranty position. We’re looking for someone with deep residential construction expertise who can confidently identify deficiencies, coordinate corrective work, and influence quality throughout the construction process.
As the organization continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to evolve into a strategic quality leadership position responsible for developing company-wide QA/QC programs and best practices.
What You’ll Be Doing Quality Control & Site Inspections
Conduct regular site walks throughout active residential high-rise projects.
Identify workmanship deficiencies before occupancy and homeowner possession.
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to verify quality and compliance.
Monitor construction quality and recommend corrective actions to project teams.
Identify recurring deficiencies and implement preventative solutions for future projects.
Warranty & Deficiency Management
Lead all warranty and deficiency activities from Pre-PDI through post-occupancy.
Manage Pre-PDI, PDI, Tech Audit and post-Tech Audit deficiencies.
Coordinate trades, consultants, property management and customer care teams to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Track outstanding deficiencies and ensure all work is completed to company quality standards.
Planning & Trade Coordination
Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and trade scheduling.
Prepare repair schedules, budgets and labour forecasts.
Manage trade scopes, pricing and resource allocation to ensure projects remain on schedule.
Continuous Improvement
Perform root cause analysis on recurring deficiencies.
Collaborate with construction teams to improve quality across future developments.
Assist in developing quality standards, reporting, inspection processes and QA/QC programs.
Participate in site meetings and provide quality-focused recommendations.
What We’re Looking For Required Experience
Approximately 10+ years of residential high-rise construction experience.
Extensive knowledge of Tarion Warranty processes and Ontario residential construction.
Strong understanding of: Pre-PDI, PDI, Tech Audits, Occupancy and Post-occupancy warranty
Experience conducting site inspections and quality audits.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing construction deficiencies.
Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and residential construction best practices.
Experience with Microsoft Office; Procore or similar construction software is considered an asset.

Please Note This opportunity is best suited for professionals with residential high-rise condominium construction experience.
Applicants with backgrounds limited to commercial, industrial, civil construction, or office-based warranty/customer service roles without significant site inspection and Tarion experience are unlikely to meet the requirements of this position.
