Klinic Community Health is seeking a qualified Trauma Counsellor to join its dedicated team. This position requires a minimum of two years of direct in-person counselling experience, focusing on creating a safe space for clients. You will engage in both individual and group counselling, applying knowledge of trauma and therapeutic models for effective mental health support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide therapeutic counselling to individuals and groups
• Facilitate group counselling sessions effectively
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Complete client assessments, reports, and documentation
• Participate in program development and training activities
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in social sciences, graduate preferred
• Minimum 2 years in clinical counselling settings
• Knowledge of trauma and crisis intervention
• Satisfactory background checks required
• Completion of ASSIST Training
