The Role: We are seeking a UX Researcher to support the design, validation, and improvement of consumer-oriented product experiences at Linus Health.
This role will help the team understand how people engage with brain health products, including patients, participants, consumers, caregivers, and partner-referred users. You may also support research with clinicians, partners, and internal stakeholders connected to how these experiences are delivered.
You will plan and conduct practical research, synthesize insights clearly, and help cross-functional teams make confident product decisions.
This is a strong fit for a hands-on researcher who brings a consumer product mindset, can balance rigor with speed, works well in ambiguity, and communicates findings in a way that drives action.
What you'll do Plan and conduct generative and evaluative research to inform product strategy, design direction, and roadmap decisions
Test consumer-facing concepts, prototypes, and product experiences across key user journeys
Assess user understanding of key concepts and next steps
Conduct usability testing, concept testing, interviews, and mixed-methods research
Support research with end users of the experience, as well as stakeholders and partner-referred populations connected to how the experience is delivered
Help identify barriers to trust, comprehension, completion, engagement, retention, and willingness to return over time
Partner with Product Design and Product Management to clarify research questions, shape study plans, and translate findings into product decisions
Work with Clinical and Compliance stakeholders to evaluate language, tone, health literacy, consent comprehension, and perceived credibility
Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
Identify patterns across qualitative feedback, usability observations, engagement metrics, and product behavior data where available
Contribute to research operations,



including participant criteria, recruitment planning, interview logistics, consent processes, note-taking, synthesis, and documentation
Help define success metrics for usability, comprehension, engagement, trust, accessibility, and long-term value
Share findings in a way that helps cross functional groups align around user needs
About You: Must Haves: 4+ years of UX research experience in digital products (preferred: healthcare, consumer health, life sciences, wellness, or similar)
Experience conducting usability testing, concept testing, interviews, and mixed-methods user research
Strong ability to turn ambiguous product questions into focused research plans
Experience working closely with Product Design, Product Management, and Engineering in a fast-moving product development environment
Ability to synthesize qualitative findings into clear themes, implications, and prioritized recommendations
Strong communication and storytelling skills for cross-functional audiences
Comfort researching experiences involving sensitive information, trust, consent, health data, or behavior change
Experience evaluating comprehension, language clarity, and usability across different user confidence levels
Familiarity with UX Research Testing tools such as Figma, Jira, Confluence, Maze, Zoom, or similar platforms
Ability to balance rigor with speed and choose the right research approach for the decision at hand
Nice To Haves: Experience researching with older adults, patients, caregivers, or people managing cognitive or neurological concerns




Experience in digital health, clinical research, or health system environments
Familiarity with accessibility research, health literacy, or plain-language evaluation
Experience researching complex, multi-step product journeys
Experience combining qualitative insights with engagement metrics or behavioral product data
Exposure to behavioral science, habit formation, nudging, adherence, or personalized health interventions
Thoughtful use of AI tools to support research planning, synthesis, or documentation, with appropriate attention to privacy and compliance
Compensation: Please note that we are open to hiring for this role in either the United States or Canada. Therefore, the salary ranges and currency budgeted will be based on the physical location of the candidate. This position will also include a yearly target discretionary bonus as well as equity, health benefits, unlimited PTO, a monthly flex day, retirement plans & more. The final offer determined for the candidate who is hired into this position will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant skills, professional experience, labor market conditions, etc.
