As a Controller, you will oversee finance operations of Friday Harbour and the Big Bay Resort Association. Your responsibilities include managing accounts, cash flow, and tax compliance, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. Collaborate closely with the CFO and FP&A; Manager, making impactful financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage financial operations of Friday Harbour & BBRA
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll transactions
• Direct a team of seven, providing coaching and evaluations
• Ensure accurate financial reporting via internal controls
• Collaborate on annual budgets with FP&A; Manager
Requirements:
• Professional accounting designation (CA/CPA/CMA/CGA)
• Experience in hospitality finance roles
• Trained in big 4 accounting firms preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI
• Robust attention to detail and communication skills
