About the Position
The role of a camp counselor is to ensure the safety of the campers assigned to them and to make sure they have a positive experience at camp. It is their responsibility to communicate any questions or concerns regarding camper satisfaction to the section leader assigned to them. ** This is a short term full time contract for the week of August 17th 2026***
Responsibilities
Organize group activities;
Supervise their group of campers;
Participate in activities;
In case of emergency, administer first aid;
Discipline campers if necessary;
Communicate camper satisfaction information to section leaders.
Qualifications
Experience working with children and families (an asset);
Excellent communication skills;
Available full-time during March Break
Available to work full time during the summer (minimum of 30 hours per week for 6 weeks);
