Nezul Be Hunuyeh is seeking a Child and Family Services Manager in Fort St. James to lead a team committed to family support and cultural integrity. This full-time position is vital for maintaining effective service delivery.
In this role, you will guide a multidisciplinary team of social workers, ensuring their work aligns with agency policies and the needs of the communities served. You will oversee critical activities such as recruitment, performance management, and community engagement, emphasizing the importance of cultural identity in service delivery. Collaboration with Indigenous agencies will be key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee service delivery ensuring compliance with all standards
• Engage in recruitment, performance management, and team oversight
• Support strategic planning toward higher delegation levels
• Foster robust relationships with consultation partners
• Ensure the community’s cultural values are prioritized
Requirements:
• Relevant degree in Social Work or equivalent
• C4 Delegation status is preferred
• High ethical standards in professional relationships
• Strong leadership and communication capabilities
• In-depth knowledge of Dakelh communities and traditions
