The Opportunity This position works across our Canada market, within in the Cancer Diagnostics division. As the Key Account Management Representative, you’ll have the chance to build strategic partnerships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders to expand the adoption of Abbott Cancer Diagnostics' oncology solutions. You'll drive territory growth through consultative selling, deliver clinical and economic value to customers, and serve as a trusted resource to improve patient care in breast cancer. This position is field based.
What You’ll Work On Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales objectives while growing utilization of our oncology products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with oncologists, healthcare providers, and key account stakeholders through in-person and virtual engagements.
Deliver compelling clinical and economic evidence while providing exceptional customer service and becoming a trusted resource within assigned accounts.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Leadership, and other internal partners to support customer needs and business objectives.
Maintain accurate account insights and territory plans within the CRM system while identifying opportunities and addressing market dynamics to drive long-term success.
Be committed to establishing a solid foundation of product knowledge in order to ensure that their customers recognize them as an invaluable and trusted resource within the assigned territory.
This role will be required to successfully complete all training programs to develop the necessary fluency to convey our clinical and economic evidence to physicians and other key stakeholders.
This role may require 30% travel.
Required Qualifications 5+ years of sales experience in oncology or a related healthcare industry
10+ years sales experience overall, with a demonstrated record of success promoting complex products in medical oncology, diagnostics or biotech
Verifiable productive relationships with territory opinion leaders
Self-starter and experience of working in smaller organizations or divisions within a larger healthcare company.
Autonomous, entrepreneurial in thinking and approach
Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically
Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and decision makers within the designated territory
Preferred Qualifications Oncology sales experience with a focus on breast cancer
