Join Collins Aerospace in Oakville, Canada, as a Deburr Technician on the Weekend Day Shift. You'll focus on deburring, polishing, and cleaning critical landing gear components.
This role involves performing tasks for quality assurance in the aerospace sector, working directly under the Surface Finishing Supervisor. You will utilize skills in deburring and filing, while actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives. This is an onsite position every Friday to Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform deburring and cleaning of landing gear components
• Operate overhead cranes for large part movement
• Support operator self-verification processes
• Engage in LEAN and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Assist with rework and surface finishing tasks
Requirements:
• High school diploma with 1-3 years deburring experience
• Ability to read micrometers and verniers
• Eligible to work in Canada, meeting ITAR and CCGP standards
• Proven ability to follow exact drawing specifications
• Familiarity with production order cards and manufacturing sheets
