Degelman Industries LP seeks an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our Production Department. This role focuses on skilled mechanical and electrical repairs, ensuring optimal performance of equipment such as tools and forklifts. Candidates should have a relevant education and a minimum of three years in maintenance, with opportunities for further training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a preventative maintenance program
• Perform regular scheduled maintenance and address breakdown emergencies
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts as needed
• Familiarize with the operation of all company equipment
• Diagnose and solve mechanical issues efficiently
Requirements:
• First year Millwright/Industrial Mechanic education or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of experience in machinery repair
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work under varying conditions, including at heights
