As a Process Technician reporting to the Plating & Processing Supervisor, you will carry out electroless nickel plating and component preparation to specific customer requirements. Your expertise in process chemistry, part fixturing, and lean initiatives makes you a vital team member in optimizing operations. Prior plating experience enhances your skills in executing tasks efficiently while maintaining safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform electroless nickel plating of aircraft components
• Prepare parts including fixturing and masking
• Maintain tanks and chemistry with regular PM
• Support cross-functional team processes
• Communicate process issues effectively across shifts
Requirements:
• High school diploma with 1-3 years in process chemistry
• Previous plating experience is a plus
• Knowledge of measuring equipment required
• Ability to read blueprints and use hand tools
• Solid understanding of WHMIS protocols
