Join the Mental Health Employment Support team at the Penticton Health Centre in beautiful Penticton, B.C. as a Job Developer. In this full time role, you will work Monday to Friday, delivering essential employment services to clients facing severe mental health challenges.

This position is integral to the multidisciplinary Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) team, using the Individual Placement and Support Model. You will support clients in achieving their employment goals, offering life skills training, and facilitating resume workshops. Creating strong relationships with local employers and resource organizations is key to fostering job opportunities for clients battling mental illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish rapport with clients and their families
• Support clients with educational and employment goals




• Provide life skills and pre-employment training
• Facilitate workshops on resume writing and interview skills
• Develop connections with employers and vocational resources

Requirements:
• Experience in mental health or related fields
